League of Legends (LoL) is currently the most popular (by viewership and active players) Esports game. It's a Massive Online Battle Arena (MOBA) where two teams of 5 players each compete against one another. Each player chooses a "champion" that has unique powers and features. There is one main map with the goal is for one team to destroy the other teams Nexus (which is their main structure that all the players are trying to protect). This game is incredibly strategic and requires excellent teamwork.
